Handbuilding Classes

Hand building with clay is a pottery technique that involves shaping and molding clay with your hands to create functional or decorative objects. During the five week session you will learn different building techniques, surface treatment and glazing. Hand building allows for a great deal of creativity and artistic expression, as there are no limitations to what can be created.

$255 for 5 weeks of classes, including:

  • One 2 1/2 hour class each week

  • Ability to make up missed classes

  • Unlimited clay to work with

  • All materials needed to properly build and glaze

  • Open studio time available
